George, 1st time on SailNet so I may not be following protocal. I own a Ranger 23 and am in the middle of doing a major electrical refit with an electrician...costing me an arm and a leg. Can you email me the owners manuel you may have for the Ranger 26? I cant believe there to be too much of a difference in the electrical schemtic between the 23 & the 26. Can anyone tell me the headroom dimension of a ranger 26?

I think it's 5'4" or thereabouts. I'm 6' and I hit my head all the time!

I recently got a Simrad TP-10 Autotiller, which I installed. It steers the boat quite well. Since I singlehand a lot, it's a great addition. I got a Perko polarized plug and mounted the socket on the side of the starboard lazarette, so the TP-10 plugs in right there. The Autotiller cost me just over $300 at Defender. I'll try to get some pictures. Has anyone else tried one of these?

Also, has anyone rigged jiffy reefing on an R-26? I've been studying the boom on mine, but haven't figured out exactly how to do it.
