1976 Gary Mull Ranger 26' dry weight
I can see that the displacement is 5860 lbs and the ballast weight is 2050 lbs but how do I find the dry weight of the boat, with no motor. I'm trying to figure out if the 26' Ranger I want to buy can be trailered on a single axle trailer... Thanks for any input. Yes I have already looked at sailboatdata and other sites. :)

Generally published displacements are the projected dry weights of the boat. In actuality most boats will weigh in quite a bit more, with fluids, gear and supplies aboard, and often they ended up heavier than 'designed' if layups were not closely controlled.

I'd be tempted to use #6000 as a ball park figure if the published displacement is 5860.

your not going to trailer that on one axle

Agreed, going to at least need a double axle trailer for that weight, and I've seen pictures of both tandems, and triples being used for those. No way I'd trust a single though.
