heres a weird one: blue water rhodes 19

Hey there, I am currently in the process of restoring a Sailstar (bristol) corsair 24, and over the weekend my roommate came to the yard with me and fell in love with a rhodes 19. We were thinking about smaller boats that have crossed oceans. what kind of cabin would you guys build to take a rhodes transoceanic and maintain her classic lines? I was thinking a kind of doghouse style addition to the cut away. we're mostly joking... but kinda not really. Crazy thoughts anyone?

I would assume the fk version and not the center board?. Why would you want to? It is a 1300 lb boat. Scary!

Look at some of the Atlantic crossing rowboats there may be some good ideas there.

I have seen a couple of trans-ocean rowing boats up close. We were in Antigua when the winner of one the races came in. They are incredibly specialized boats - don't see much carry-over to sailing.
