S2 8.0 boom parts
I have a 1979 S2 8.0B and there are no markings on the mast or boom to indicate the manufacturer. On the forward end of the boom there is part I would like to replace. I'm not sure what it is really called, but I think it is called a gooseneck casting. One of the ears that holds the tack pin is busted off. Does anyone have any idea who the OEM was or where I can get a replacement?? Thanks.

This lead might help you. I believe the boom and mast sere made by Kenion Spars, they don't make the rigging anymore. The referral article on the website I've pasted should give you a good start to finding the manufacturer who now supplies the hardware.

This won't help you but my gooseneck was corroded and hanging by a thread. After haul out I took it out from the boom and gave it to friend who replicated it beautifully out of stainless for a case of beer!

Both RigRite and Dwyer are a good source for the gooseneck casting.

That sounds familiar
I also have the exact same problem on my boom. I was planning on machining my own replacement, but if you find a cheap fix, please let me know, thanks.
