Inner Forestay for Sabre 425

Dear all, I purchase a 1991 Sabre 425 with wing keel a year ago and I am in the process of fixing it up and upgrading it for long distance cruising. One of the things I am contemplating is to add an inner forestay to be able to hoist a storm jib. Does anyone has heard of this being done before or any view on the subject? I have contacted Sabre directly and they haven't done this before and refered me to Sabre owner community here at Sailnet.

Any input would be highly appreciated!
