NC Sabre Owners

Hello Sabre Owners in NC,

We have talked about it, but this seems like a good opportunity to have
Sabre Owners in North Carolina get together to share information about their
boats, travels and general sea yarns. I'd like to propose that if there is
any interest, we reserve a meeting room in New Bern or Oriental at one of
the restaurants and have a informal gathering. In the past I've enjoyed
meeting with the Chesapeake Sabre Owners Assoc and previous to that with
Ericson Owners in Annapolis (prior boat). These social occasions have always
been fun and very rewarding given the information we are able to share about
our boats. I don't have many of your emails, but I do have a list of 12-14
Sabres in the New Bern-Oriental-Washington area. In addition, I'll send this
along to Alan at Sailcraft, John at Deaton and Glen at Sabre to post and
pass it along to any Sabre Owners that they know. If you have any interest,
please drop me a note and we will see if there are enough to set something

I travel to NC once a month to a home there (and boat) and plan to be in NC
August 11th thru August 20th. I would propose Thursday the 18th or Friday
the 19th as possible dates and will be happy to make all the arrangements
and send out notice to everyone who responds. I hope to hear from you, my
email and phone are listed below, see you on the water, and hopefully also
at a NC Sabre rendezvous !
