Saga 409 launch

We launched Saga 409 #18 a couple of weeks ago.

It was quite a sight with 20,000 lbs of boat swinging in the air from a crane!

We also stepped the mast, and it's a cool-looking rig with the triple spreaders.

Can't wait to get out on the water and see what she'll do!

Saga Group moved

Nice launch pictures. The Saga Owners group has moved to Yahoo Groups where you will find a very active and helpful group. This sailnet group has been abandoned.

SecondWind,

Nice launch photo! A bit nerve wracking for the owner, perhaps?

Is that a new build? By PSC? Or an existing boat that was being re-launched?

Any more photos? Interior?

John, quite a long story on this one, but essentially, she's a brand new 2007 model going in the water for the first time. We believe her to be the last 409 hull laid up by PSC in California. Some of the work was completed here by PSC employees after the company relocated to NC.

Now she's in the process of being commissioned, and she's going to be the flagship of our charter fleet.

I do have some more pictures, and I'll be taking plenty more as we get all the goodies installed.

Any chance you could move this to the general forum since this Saga group is defunct?
