I specify "Wackyboard", the name applied to bendable plywood on the right coast, on many design projects with compound curves. Here's one example in a house I designed with compound roof curvatures. Wackyboard was used in layers as a sheathing substrate under the copper roof.

The wood is not particularly attractive though, with luan as surface and inner plies - which is why it's normally used in underlayment applications.

I doubt it. Wiggle board just bends in curves one way. The veener goes opposite of normal plywood. If you lay the edge of a sheet on the floor with the long side down, the grain will be up and down. The last piece I bought could have been wrapped in a circle around an oil drum. I guess they would call this mono-directional, for lack of a better term..........

TB,
I have used "flexible" trim material for interior applications, notably several arched windows in my own house. What a PITA. Obviously I am referring to the trim boards on the facia in your pic.

We used band-sawn, dimensional cedar boards for the flat facia stock, but a 3" wide flexible ovolo (quarter round) molding was used along the edge where the copper roofing meets the facia (or rake). It's great stuff, but the builders have demonstrated that it can dimple with common head fasteners - especially with nail guns.

Seems we're digressing from the topic.

Whats that about my ash????

err.. I did a ck on east teaks website. They have 1/8" T&H I think which could fill the bill!

My Vee berth is like most, the notch and step. no shelves though. I can make some shelves that curve with the hull and mount them about 6-8" below the ceiling and not affect the sleeping headroom. The cushions are that tacky 80s style "tweed" which will be the first to go and become white or off white nauga or something. (breathable required)

keep your hands off my ash!

Denise,
we redid our cusions a year ago with sunbrella, they make fabrics for different desighners we love it its tough stuff and you can lay down on it with out sticking to it(naugahyde) its also breathable and mildew resistant. where the side of the hull are exposed they are covered with a vinal with foam backing headliner. Check outhttp://outdoortextiles.com/
Here is a before and after.

I take no credit for this, The Missus did a great job

I forgot to tell you to Call Outdoor textiles before you order sometimes they have partial rolls on sale and it is cosiderably cheaper than advertised price.
We saved a lot on ours. They have some really nice white" linen" (still sunbrella) fabrics but the boss knows me too well to put anything white where I might endup
