Nah, what will happen is you'll decide you need a bigger boat and have to sell her to afford the new one.  It is called three-footitis.

I have enough white cedar to do the "ceiling" of the whole boat. But, not this yr! Maybe soft headliner for the "overhead" dog? T&G beadboard sounds right!
I'll get the whole boat interior nice eventually, and the keel will fall off  or it gets hit by a Tug boat some dark night.
