For some silly reason I thought that Bob Perry designed the Perry docksider shoes...I never liked the sheer on those shoes either ....

Charlie -- When you take him out, be sure to heat up some Dinty Moore Beef stew. In one of his reviews a long time ago he waxed poetic about the old days when galleys were only there to heat up Dinty Moore. (I think he's beyond that now.)

As long as I have some Vegamite aboard, we should be good to go.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Well, he's no Steve Perry!

I'd offer up my Vegamite for the occation, but just used the last of it to fill a crack in the garage floor.

He and Ted Brewer are doubly talented in that if they weren't great yacht drawers, they could easily have writing careers. Perry in particular is a pleasure to read.

I happen to like what both gentlemen draw, as well.
