mystery boat in Nantucket

I was in Nantucket last week and saw a boat that was unique and beautiful - it was 40ish feet long, very highly designed - much effort went into designing all the details - no life lines - only 4 stays - rather beamy - unfortunately, I don't really have much more to offer than this - I went back to take a picture and she was gone - she was docked on the way out to the Timoneer and the rest of the mega-yachts - can anyone help me ID her?

It would help if you had a bit more detailed a description...color, name of boat, type of rig, etc. Saying 40-ish feet long and very highly designed is like saying it was floating on the water... doesn't give us BUPKUS to go on.

Never mind - found it - it is a Friendship 40 - and by the way, Quickstep, pretty good answer considering you didn't have "BUPKUS" to go on. Your sailing design acumen is superior to that of Sailingdog, for sure - and your tact and class too!

for that kinda cash I'd be looking at a Gunboat cat!!

For sure a special sailing machine there for the few that can afford that kinda cash for basically a daysailer!!
