Main Bulkhead Material Suggestion

Just had the bad news on a rotting bulkhead on a Cal 2-29. I have a pretty good bead on some websites for replacing the bulkhead....but, I'm new to this level of repair. Suggestions, especially replacing with marine plywood or going to a fiberglass composite? Thanks.

Replace it with marine plywood. You will need to tab the bulkhead in or scarf it in to the good part of the existing bulkhead.

Epoxy coating the wood is highly recommended.
