Thinking about building a boat and fell in love with it. Thinking of ordering the study plans and DVD.

Yes I have completed one of these. It hasn't been wet yet - waiting for the ice to go out. Arch Davis has it posted on website News, Stories & Photos.

None. I just Googled "Penobscot 17", and found the Arch Davis site.

My boat is shown in a collage of photos that Arch Davis assembled; Builder is Roger Burleigh, Anchorage, Alaska.

Bulkhead access ports

RumPirate, I noticed that the 3rd and 5th bulkheads (from the bow) did not show cut outs for access to the spaces between the adjacent bulkheads (2nd and 4th, respectively). These will be hard to cut in after the fact and you will need acess to these spaces if you cut in limber holes along the stringers. Are you planning on providing access through the seat tops? That could work!!
