Watkins 27

Any one have some experience with Watkins 27 boat?. Is the hull any good?.
Could be good to go to Bahamas.

I bought mine in december going around the island this summer plus the real test Mona island.Ill let you know.

Have a friend with one...seems very well built as far as hull and rigging,rudder assembly and the builder didn't seem too cheap with the construction materials except the decks which seem to go soft easily with any rot or they simply arent constructed well. Overall I was rather impressed with the Watkins 27 and it's certainly as roomy as alot of 30-footers with that 10-foot beam. The one my friend has sports the Volvo Penta diesel...not sure of how many horses...
