Trimaran design

Hi,

I'm looking for resources on the design of trimarans. I have 3D solid, surface and even fluid dynamics software at hand but am lacking a good overview on trimaran designs. Any good resources on the web? Would prefer something with complete process description if available..

This is for a design concept so some rather generic guidelines will propably do just fine.

Hi,

thank you very much! I'm currently still in ideation stage and have a very rough design outlined. Once I've got some decent sketches and solutions nailed down I would certainly welcome some professional feedback.

I found a little free app which may be of interest to this community: Sailcut. Haven't tried it yet but seems promising.
