Displacement

Hi All,

We currently have an S2 7.3 on a small lake here in Ohio. We really want to move her up to Lake Erie but I am concerned she is too light. Listed displacement is 3250 and the PO removed the inboard in favor of an outboard and I'm thinking this reduced weight by a further 150lbs or so. My wife likes a nice smooth on the flat side ride on our current lake, I don't want to scare her off the water all together. Should I be looking for a heavier boat?

Not out of line for a 23' boat really. I doubt a heavier boat would make much of a difference. A larger boat would make more difference but any boat will move if the water conditions aren't very calm.
