Trying to source the design/engineering drawings for the Bill Shaw Pearson 32, specifically the rudder specifications. Appreciate any thoughts on where those drawings and/or the rudder mold itself might reside. Thanks
Yes - this is the Pearson 32 (not the heavier longer keel Pearson 323) with a fin keel and rudder hung from a smaller approx 12-15" deep skeg. There are shops that can build it, but not without specs and/or the original Pearson mold. Thanks, Ron

D&R bought up a lot of the residuals when Pearson went out of business, may have the drawings, etc. He'd probably be the best person to know where to get a copy of the drawings if he doesnt have them.
at the end of 2010 i thought my steering [on p-32 s/v magic] was a little rolly going back and forth. 0n hauling .....there was 3 flat head screws holding the shoe on the underside[scrape off bottom paint underneath shoe &acess screws by swinging rudder all the way port or starboard] it turned out that tthe rear screw[3/8]was sheared completely off...this spring i rebored the old hole and installed 1/2 inch bolt......as for the rudder i would have the stainless steel web rebuilt and then make my own rudder sanwithched over...not too hard a job when u get into it..good luck
