not to resurrect such an old thread but if anybody has info on some specifics Im all ears

I need info on turnbuckle sizes for the lowers and intermediate shrouds...I have some mixmatched stuff

can anyone also confiorm what pin sizes are stock for the main chainplates?

Why don't you check wire diams. Probably 5/16".
Work backwards from that.

well thats always good, thanks BOB

but in all honesty what would you reccomend

the reason I ask is this boat has been modified and some stuff is weird...

also although everyone keeps quoting the islander36 association there is not one place that says specific(current) sizes for pins, turnbuckles...

my chainplates have 7/16 pins...kind of not normal...but if I simply go by wire size I could use either 3/8 turnbuckles, 7/16 and 1/2

My cap shrouds have been upgraded they are 5/16

wouldnt use those all around would you?
