Bristol channel Cuttter build (long)

Loved watching this build using glass hull and traditional wood for much of the rest!

Re: Bristol channel Cuttter build (long)

An acquaintance of mine built those here under license back in the 80's. Doug put bonded on straight teak decks on his which really made the boats. He also had some really beautiful bronze castings that combined stanchion bases with bulwark supports - they eliminated those heavy blocks holding up the bulwarks.

There are few boats that look & feel so shippy or which pull at the heartstrings quite like a BCC.

I was heartened to see that Morse agreed with me and used plain old exterior fir ply for the interior partitions.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.
