Re: Bob Perry's take on Wolfenzee's dream boat

Bob,

I did not get as close as I would have liked, as they were sanding on it, so looked at her from the west opening. Did not feel like getting in anyones way at the time. She does look nice from where I was standing any how. Hopefully I can get back over there in the next week or so and get a closer look.

Sorry I missed getting up that way. I did have a good time at the STYC Race/Fundraiser for breast cancer satureday. We had the most distance covered in 3 hrs in my class, got a third for total bouy's sailed and funds raised. Then got a special award, Spirit award, since it was basically my twin sons and myself on the boat, racing and moving hard, along with we took a 30 yr old main sail, painted it pink and put the names of folks that had $$ donated in there names. Of course at the top, was "mom""grandma pat" who died from this desease back in 91 when my boyz were 5. Was hoping my daughter could get out, but alas, she got finagled into something else......not sure she was happy about that.

Take being banned for life on CF as a compliment . It means they are stating that your are not one of them (ie A well programed group thinker)
The contempt of some is the sincerest form of flattery. It means they don't consider you to be like them.

Re: Bob Perry's take on Wolfenzee's dream boat

I tried to see if Davids boat was at the shore, or still at anchor in pt wednesday. Saw a few double enders, but not with his boats name. May get another shot tomorrow.

Re: Bob Perry's take on Wolfenzee's dream boat

FWIW David's boat is not a double ender. She has a transom with an outboard rudder.

May as well post a price, specs, and a picture. This thread will be the best piece of marketing that boat has ever seen. Also, I think Wolf might appreciate any help we can give in making sure his girl finds a good home.

Bob, I put you in charge of vetting the new owner. I can picture you, shotgun in hand, sizing up your girl's date. "Now son, you WILL have her back by 8:00 right?"
