Rep Power

How does one get the mods to turn on your rep power? Faq says there is a place on user cp edit options to check/able or disable your rep power but I can't find it.

Re: Rep Power

If I recall correctly Rep Power isn't really used any more - has been replaced by the Like button, and user's rep power normally matches the number of years they've been a member.

Re: Rep Power

I believe it comes via the number of likes/thanks you get and general number of posts. It will come with time, and there must be a strange algorithm that figures it out.

This ^^

If there are more than the number of years, it's someone who was probably registered before it stopped being used.

Well that is disappointing. I thought there was more to it than that.

I'll take being a "10" any way I can.

I think early on someone clicked my rep icon to see if it worked. So, none were earned the old fashioned way.

Re: Rep Power

I guess no one really knows. I joined in 2010 and mine is 0. I see people joined in 2014 and they have 1. I see people joined in 2008 and have 8. If years were used, that would make it 2016.

Rep power can go the other way, too.

Re: Rep Power

DR, I don't know what you mean. As in negative? I haven't seen that.
