Thanks for all the tips! Sanding is a lot of work, which I was prepared to do...but if there is an easier way...I am all for it! There is a lot of wood on the boat and the boat is not nearby so it's not convenient to work on in my spare time. When we go to the boat every other weekend...we plan on leaving the dock....not working! When we finally get around to 'cleaning up' the wood....I'll let you know how it goes!
In the meantime, we have to take care of a more urgent matter....we have no neutral gear as we recently found out!!

Thanks for the tip on cleaning teak. I am in the beginning process of restoring a very neglected 31' Cheoy Lee. The teak inside and out is in much need cleaning.
I have tried Comet (so-so), Snappy Teak-nu (good but expensive).
I can't wait to try this formula.
