cleaning boat fenders

I have six, 8 x 20 fenders for my 26 foot Ranger. They are white, but desperatly need a good cleaning. They have normal scuffs and wearmarks, but are in good working condition. Is there a good cleaner out there that would "spruce" them up a bit, preventing me from buying new ones. I know there are covers out there, but I would rather try cleaning them up first.

Thanks for any help/advice

Try Spray-9 and a dobie pad. Rinse the fenders well when you are done.

My wife uses the Magic Eraser to clean ours and they are always bright white.

Another product that's worth while is "Greased Lightening" sold at Lowes and Home Depot. Once you've get the fenders clean, give them a good coat of wax. You can also make very inexpensive covers from old towels.

What I use is a product called Star brite...I spray it on ...let it sit a few minutes and wipe and rinse. For the tough area's I use a scotch pad...works great. Attached is a pic of one half done....I hope

Rangernewell,

Where can one get the Star brite product? It seems to clean pretty good...

Thanks.

Sea ....I bought the product at a marina. But I think you can get it at hardware stores as well. I bought these fenders at garage sale and thought I would see if I could clean them, they cleaned up quite well.
