Bimini on an Ericson 23

I am thinking a bimini might enable more sailing during the summer in Florida.
My boat is an Ericson 23-II. The mainsheet is mid-boom. Any guidance on measuring, installing, and so on?

Yeah, I did that and have gotten nothing. I have found there is typically not a lot of response to E23 questions.

If you want to sail with the Bimini always up, it's probably best to just measure the dimensions and custom make one. I picked up a used frame and then cut it to fit my Newport. You can install it "short" so the boom can swing freely over it, or leave it full size and take it down when you're in the heat of sailing. Just measure the width and the height.
