how to insert link/image in msg body?!

Hi! Struggling with what seems to be a simple task of inserting an image via a link in the msg body!

I click the insert image icon on the tool bar and paste in the link but it does not work!

This is what i get when I try pasting from flikr

Any ideas!?

The best way to add an image to a post is through an account like photobucket.. upload your image to their site and paste the IMG CODE link directly into your post (don't use the SN icon). Flickr should have a similar function. The account costs nothing, generates no spam that I've ever seen, and has a large amount of storage space.

@ ParadiseParot Sorry was not clear in my original post - I was trying to use an image embedded in the msg box. Link works ok but not having the photo as part of the text.

@ Faster - thanks for that. It seems that Flickr does not work - see extract below from guidelines.

Extract from Flickr Help

Where is the HTML code and photo file link?

The HTML code to embed a photo in a web page that you used to find on the All Sizes page is now only in the Share menu above the photo, to the right of the Actions menu. We now also include BBCode! (standard message board code)

There are a few cases where the code may not be available: 1) If the photo is restricted. 2) If that person has turned off "Share this" or access to original files.

The direct link to a photo file is no longer shown on the page. Per the Flickr Community Guidelines "pages on other websites that display content hosted on flickr.com must provide a link from each photo or video back to its page on Flickr." Linking directly to the photo file doesn't do this.
