Shared ownership
Is anyone interested, I am thinking about buying a catamaran in the 33 to 39 foot range next summer and the max price should be around 150,k. My plan is to go in on the boat with someone and use it every other month. I would consider selling a 40 percent share in the boat including the expenses. I would like to use the boat on the Great Lakes for the next few years, maybe longer. I would even consider limited chartering of the boat with a Great lakes charter company to help cover some exspenses. Then plan on some tropical destinations down the road. I would like to sail north in the summer and south in the winter and maybe a trans Alantic someday.
