Deck Painting

I recently purchased and Ericson 27. I am trying to gather information about painting not only the hull but the deck. I have looked at about 8 to 10 videos on this. It all seems straightforward. However, the deck seems to be a very complex painting problem. Does anyone have more advice and or tips? Thanks!

yeah painting can be intimadating just break it up into smaller sections. sand expoxy fill and prime 2 coats and paint 2-3 coats. start in your hatches and areas that you cant see to get used to it

Prep, plan, prime, paint.
The hardest thing about painting a deck is planning your wet edge so that you don't paint yourself either into a corner of the cockpit or right off the bow.
