Water system priming.

I'm new to this........any suggestions on how to prime my water system would be welcome. (on a Cooper 353) thanks

If the pump is not worn out and is working properly you should not have to I don't think.

If the tank is full, check the filters, open the valves and faucets and turn on the pump. If there is a hot water heater, it will take time for it to fill, but you should be able to feel air coming out of the faucets. If so, be patient. If not, check the pump to see if it is really pumping water or just making noise by removing the hoses and connecting the intake to a hose in a bucket of clean water.

Open galley cold tap. That eases any residual pressure. If the pump won't prime itself, wrap your lips around the faucet and suck.If that works your pump should be rebuilt or replaced before you get calluses on your lips.
