TimeOuts

Do you have the board set up to time out users? I have had several situations where I am logged on and have prepared a Reply message, which amy be extensive, and may take some time as I usually am doing something else, and when I post the message, the board tells me I am not logged on and the message is lost.

What a pain! Assuming this situation is the board timing an "inactive" user out, can you set it to 20 or even 30 minutes?

Thanksk,
Tom

After losing extensive posts on forums through the years, I have gotten into the habit of copying the article to the note pad, or my word processor, prior to hitting the Submit Reply button. Simply paste the article into a new reply window if a time-out occurs.

Thanks for the message. We will extend the session timeout to 30 minutes. We realize than some times long replies can take time and the last thing you or we want is for you to lose the valuable information you've worked so hard to post.

regards,
