You folks are doing some really nice things to the web site. You've recently been adding a lot of boat specific and special interest forums to the message boards. That is great. However, when I log onto the board, the first thing I do is go to the forums and hit the "New Posts" button. All the boards were general enough so I was interested in seeing the topics in each board. However, I might not be interested in all of the new posts in these special interest forums, but my "New Posts" is starting to grow. I see that I might have to abandon the "New Posts" option and just start checking each section I am interested in. Maybe the general "New Posts" could just pull up the new posts in the general forums?? Just thinking out loud and don't know how others prefer it, and maybe most like to see all of the new posts from everywhere, but thought I'd toss it out there. Either way, I am enjoying the new Sailnet.

Keep up the good work.

Gerhard

Thanks for the recommendation. We are looking into adding a option field in the user profile screen that would be entitled "Include News in New Posts (Y/N)?". I think this will address the issue.

Thanks again for your comments and support of SailNet - we truly appreciate it.

Hope that will work, because the ignore function doesn't do the trick.
