Tommy boy, you're worth neither the time nor effort. Haven't you figured that out yet?

For everyone who doesn't know your nickname PB, its PANTY BOY because you always whine. You excel at adding answers that are either wrong or simply repeat what someone else has said. You often make up answers when you don't know one. This thread is a shining example of what makes this site entertaining and frustrating. You did not know the answer to the question posted here. So why answer at all? It defeats the very point and purpose of this site. Yet despite your abject lack of knowledge you persist in lecturing and answering. Its quite amusing really.

So sorry, I don't pay attention to the software of the site or its quirks and did not see that little "Rep Pawer" in the corner above the green square. I guess it is a kind of social thing, to make sure of how it works just ask the owner of this general discussion board, because it is not on all the blogs or some other topic discussion boards. So I appoligise to whomever, to attempt to answer what I thought the question was. Did not mean to ruffle anyone's feathers here....honest! I'm remaining mute now. over and out.

Dottie: I wasn't trying to single you out don't worry. You don't owe anyone an apology. I was just having a laugh at your expense. Actually your answer was a good one...better than the question! lol.

Dottie,

Its no big deal. We have all done the same thing at one time or another. The nuclear weapons at 20 paces duel between PB and Surfesq, is a long running feud that has nothing to do with you or yoru post so don't take that too seriously.

I thought your response was a good one had the question been, "What is RPM, how can I find the proper cruising RPM for my engine, and is there anything else I should know about owning a diesel engine?"

It was a good, clear, and coherent answer, which is always appreciated, it just happened to be to the wrong question. Don't go mute. This board can always use more folks like you willing to provide a useful piece of information.

Respectfully,
Jeff

Jeff H is right Dottie. Anything I say will cause Surfesq to launch an ad hominem attack on me, and he doesn't much care who's thread he hi-jacks to do it in. Keep on posting whenever you feel you have something to add, and don't let yourself be bothered by others. I second Jeff's opinion.

Regards,

Hey, it's jeopardy for sailors... I'll take headsails for $300.

BTW, I agree with Jeff, that someone who can post a coherent, concise answer is always welcome to post on this board...especially, if they are replying to a related subject.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
