minor annoyance with profile

I just registered for this forum a few days ago and am exploring my way around it. So far, so good.
I went to put some particulars in my Profile, since I expect to be active here for years to ,hopefully.
The way its set up, an address in the profile HAS to have a US state as part of the address. Perhaps that goes away if one chooses another country, but I am limited there, too, because the country I have lived in for a year now, which is only 500 miles from Miami, is not even on the list. SO, that forces me to accept some address no where near where I live. And what flag to display?
There should at least be a "none of the above" choice. There are more countries in the world than there are on the list. I would think a forum with such an international flavor would allow people to accurately describe where they live.

I would be nervous about listing a planet, after Pluto was busted. I am worried that our solar system is undergoing some kind of cosmic downsizing. Pluto lost planet status, simply because it was too far from the head office. Now Neptune is looking into options and becoming nervous, and if the Universe is successful in demoting Neptune, its just a short hop onto Uranus....and then the 'roids will REALLY start flying.

Nope, CP to Edit Profile doesnt do anything about flags. Besides, the last time I DID manage to find the flag list, there was nothing for Turks and Caicos Islands. I also couldnt find British West Indies. I didnt check for the Cayman Islands,but I bet you dont have those either. Unless you have a new flag list.
