I tried to purchase ad space on here, sent 3 emails, got no response, guess my money isn't green enough.

That's probably why they can't afford to upgrade the servers.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

hate to say it..but as of late i've been spending more time on SA..always can get in..never had replies die a painful "connection refused" death..and were it not for some of the cool folks here (w/o much of the SA attitude), i'll probably come here less to minimize my frustration.
can't shop the advertising sites if i can't get on..
food for thought in the event any of the "powers to be" care
as always, my $.02 adjusted for inflation and the consumer price index

I think they need more dilithium crystals, along with the new flux capacitor.

speakling of dilithium crrrrrystals....

Why was it that they always had to use impulse power to limp all the way across the galaxy to nonoxysanol-9 to get 'em? Didn't they have a working gas guage? Why couldn't they keep a couple of spares in the icebox fer chrissake? One would have thought that spock would have done the "logical" thing and slapped scotty silly once they got to half a tank with no spares.
I'd have made him get out and push.
(gotta switch to decaf)

Ummm.. yes, CP, you should probably cut back on the coffee for a bit.

BTW, in the thread on the block law firm, Garhauer, et al. I posted an interesting fact. The price Sailnet.com has on the Lewmar 60mm Synchro single block is about 72% higher than the price Defender.com has on the exact same piece. Hmmm... makes you wonder why Sailnet can't afford to upgrade their servers, or why no one seems to shop at sailnet.com.

While I don't mind paying a slight premium, 2-5% for better service, I don't seen any point in paying 72% more when the service isn't as good, but that's just me.

I'm guessing I may get flamed by the sailnet.com loyalists... but this is just stating the truth.

Could not log on at all last night..This site has the best boat reviews and when looking for a boat its nice to read about them. I hope the "powers that be" fix this problem soon..I would hate to see this place get shoved backwards for not updating because when the advertisers have had enough and the hits on their site from here decrease ,they will pull their ads and money leaving this site to die a grim self inflicted death..Is it time to copy and paste the reviews to word pad?
