Holding Tank

I have an IP 350 The holding tank for sewage is corroded at the fitting that connects to the intake hose The tank would be very difficult to remove without MAJOR surgery The corroded area is about 1"square Whats a good way to successfully patch it? Will those epoxy puttys work?

If you fix it, it will leak some where else. Thats a nice boat to be all smelly. You will have to remove it. I replaced mine with plastic. But I have a different model than you. Check out the island packet forums site. at ask the factory

I can speak from experience. You DO NOT want that tank to leak. My incident was an RV black water tank but the same thing applies. I agree, go with a plastic tank. It might take major surgery but it beats the clean up and the smell if it develops a leak.
