Metric to inch hose adapter for plumbing a head

European (Bavaria 960 1985) boat with steel waste holding tank. I think the connections between my US made toilet and metric size barb into the tank do not fit. Thus, I have a leak in the system. Where can I get metric to inch hose adapter? I do not think I can pull the old tank out without a lot of problems. The tank is bolted down from underneath someplace. The whole thing is alkward.

I think there is nobody who offers more hose and fittings in more variations. But it is much better if you come to the nearest plumbing manufacturer in your town to ask their help. This will make you at ease by this time.

Lilieyen10,

Thank you for your suggestion. I came very close to to hiring someone to plumb the head. Several boat repair companies to not to toilets and holding tanks. One of my friends lent me a heat gun to heat the hose. It worked, I was able to stretch the 1.50" hose over the metric barb. I had purchased a Jabsco twist and lock toilet. Once I hooked it up to the holding tank I tested the whole system with dyed water. The Jabsco toilet leaked at the exit barb!

Although Jabsco directions indicate that their Twist n Lock manual toilet takes a 1.50" hose it needs a smaller diameter hose. Finally, I went to West Marine, took a piece of their 1.50" hose and tried it on several floor model toilets. I bought a Raritan manual toilet because the hose fit the barb snuggly. I installed it myself.
