Garrett 40' Farr One Ton Handling Characteristics

I am considering buying this boat configured with a long cord shallow draft keel. My partner to be thinks this keel may make the boat tender or stiff. I want to get an idea of the stability index you would access for this boat.

Also, I am also interested in contacting a Garrett Owners Association if one exists..
