Spin-Safe spinnaker snuffers
I own an Oyster 406, 1988. When I bought it about 4 years ago there was a Spin-Safe spinnaker snuffer amongst the the gear. Encouragingly, the gear looks well-used but the boat was a death-sale and therefore I cannot ask the previous owner about use of this device and I can find nothing on the web, even using the manufacturers website (Aronowitsch and Lyle AB, Sweden. It looks like a giant version of one of those Slinky toys (coiled spring), with appropriate attachments for the spinnaker head and a lot of string for getting it up and down
Anyone able to help?
