Connecting water heater to engine coolant

Has anyone connected the water heater Raritan 12 gal water heater to
The Perkins 4.236 coolant? On a cal cruising 46?

Is this advisable?
Is it safe?
How is it done?
Can this be done by a do it yourselfer?
