Why don't I see my search string in search results?

I've searched for quite a few topics and such and I often get around 500 results. If I troll through the top results I find not one instance of my search string. What's up with that?

For example, I searched "white strobe masthead light" and none of the results had anything to do will any of those strings.

Well after trolling through many posts having nothing to do with my search string, I did find something on the 3rd page. Not great, but ok.

I've come to realize one word is about all that works on the search function.
