Chat feature Incompatible with tabbed browsing

This website is totally screwed up as soon as one opens anything in tabs. Even turning off the chat feature does not resolve the problem. All the tabs want to duplicate the most recent tab. It also has to load every new link in every tab at the same time. Other websites work perfectly fine. Its only sailnet.

Running Firefox

I have not had that problem with either the current or previous versions of Firefox (they issued a new version after the chat feature was rolled out).

No, I don't get that one. I'm running Firefox, have something like fifteen tabs open right now and absolutely no problems.

agree with the no problem on safari on mac, IE and Netscape on PC - we have all and have tested all of them on all platforms with all browsers - even Netscape on Mac.

Have had other problems but not that one. Firefox 6.0 with lots and lots of tabs.

I think I found why no one else has this problem. Firefox has an addon that allows splitting tabs and displaying multiple tabs at once. Once I disabled the feature, now it works normal. It actually permanently corrupted the function so that tabs stopped working on all other pages as well. Apparently the chat is incompatible with the addon.
