I somehow missed this area of the forum, so when I unexpectedly purchased a '73 Seafarer 24 cb (centerboard - swing keel) I posted in the boat buying section. Here is a link to my thread:

I haven't even been told yet where to see the boat, an ebay purchase through some broker, not a good experience so far. He set up two boat sales to end on a Friday night, his choice. Then he ignores his business for the entire weekend and all of today so far. I was able to instantly pay his fee, then no other options for completing the payment were available. Several emails and phone calls resulted in him leaving a message with his phone number - which I'd been calling.
Hopefully there is good reason (I doubt it) for the hassle and it will all work out. His auction specified 7 days to remove the boat, I certainly hope that the countdown begins
after I've been told where the boat is.
Anyway, I like to see helpful information and knowledge organized for others to find when searching, so I wanted to post the link here and will start any new thread's here.
I'm delighted to see other Seafarer owners are on this excellent, knowledgeable, helpful site.
