Replacement portlights / windows

I am considering replacing my (leaky) port lights / windows in my Seafarer 30. The current ones don't open and are are 24"x6" (approx). Has anyone else done this replacement, and if so what brand did you use, and were there any 'surprises'.
Thanks in advance

Re: Replacement portlights / windows

I haven't replaced mine yet, but here's a link to the brand I plan to use. They are the best priced portlights I've come across, and were recommended by another owner who used them.

Replacement portlights / windows

I replaced the plastic ports on my Cape Dory with New Found Metals bronze ports. Luckily the old ports were a common size so there was an exact fit. Very well made, great customer service and a great website with instructions. Only thing I'm not crazy about is how the screens mount. It is really a two person job with one on the inside and one outside. Since you need to adjust the closing fit of the ports you really need to decide whether you want the screens in or out. Going back and forth would be a hassle.

I have a Morgan 1988 Classic and one of the portlights in the main salon, the lense, just cracked. How do I find out what model it is...it is a Lewmar and they said they require a photo of it.
