Navigation course in Annapolis

I found this article this morning, and thought that it might be of interest to newer sailors in the Annapolis area:

Navigation Course details- Clicky

It's being put on by the local power squadron and seems to be very affordable.

Flybyknight is on a distinguished road
$150.00 Bucks! Wow, plus another $103.50 for non members!!
I hold the grade of N in the Power Squadron, Northern New Jersey chapter, and we never charged anything for the course except materials which is minimal.
We do require students to have successfully completed JN as a prerequisite,
and there is no charge for that either.
What's going on??

Dick

Really? Bummer, I'm disappointed to discover that this isn't the square deal I thought it was. Maybe it's an Annapolis thing.
