Celestial Navigation Book--Susan P Howell

Hi Everyone,

I am teaching myself Celestial Navigation using the Susan P Howell book.

If anyone has used this book: I am unable to solve problem #7 on page 73.

According to the book, the correct answers to the problem are:

AP LO: 140.02.4 W
"a" 1.2T
Z(n) 164.1

I am consistently calculating 1.4T for a

Is there anyone out there who may be able to provide some help?

Check out teacup navigation its easy and fast to learn. Search the forums I posted about it about a year ago.

I have the book and am working through it myself. Did you figure it out? I left mine on the boat but am heading down this weekend. I can give it a go.

I have also been watching these youtube videos.
