If I needed rescue, send these guys!

Most boats would be lost in the sand, this one digs itself out!

amazing!!! How the intakes and strainers don't clog or the engines over heat is a wonder. You can see the tunnels for the props. Some great engineering on that boat.

I've been here long enough to have been worried when I read the title of this thread and saw that you posted it. I was expecting a bunch of shirtless Coasties.

The video was actually pretty cool! I can't believe they went out backward! Neat trick.

Can you imagine the force on that boat when those waves hit the stern?

Can you imagine what they look like under all that foul weather gear?
(Don't try to second-guess Denise!)

The RNLI does amazing work under the very worst of conditions. It is truly a worthy organization full of admirable people! If you Google for RNLI, you'll find numerous stories of life saving and rescue.

As an aside, you may remember this guy, MSc. from the RNLI who is working on his masters. He first posted in Februrary of this year, I think. If you get a chance, please take a moment to contribute answers to his survey. It will help him with his research.

Pretty cool to watch!

Can't make any headway going bowfirst into the surf? Well, just put her in reverse and lets just back out! :D

Those "Blokes" as they are say are pretty amazing but in all fairness I have to give our own some equal time!

Well, testosterone is a good thing, but I still say sailing in the surf zone is crazy dangerous.
