I am going to be an instructor

I want to become an instructor in the summer. Has anybody got some ideas how to do this?I live in Holland.

It would probably be a good idea to get whatever permit the Dutch authorities (Netherlands Sailing Federation) offers for teaching sailing. USSailing will probably honor it. If you are coming to the US anyway, you might also be able to sign up for a US Sailing Level 1 Instructor course sometime in April or May, before the sailing camps and clubs start their programs. Check out the US Sailing website for more information on this. Some clubs may reimburse the cost if you then go to work for them. For job openings, check out the ISSA (High School sailing association) website at http://highschoolsailingusa.org/job_bank3/index.htm and also the JSALIS website. www.jsalis.org/

Have lots of fun, though! As students, you should have seen what my parents did! I have it posted in my thread. It's in the forum "Learning to sail" and it's called "I was trapped UNDER the boat". The funny part is that we still can't figure out what exactly what went wrong and how we could have prevented it. Sigh...
