lmmohr valid or not the green flash exists. i have seen it a few times in the tropics. never was able to get a picture of it

This is a common occurrence if you are at any bar in Waikiki. I saw it from Duke's last year. I hate Dukes.

after watching countless videos (as I have not seen it ever), all the evidence seems to be a green dot is the last color wave as the sun dips... a light diffraction if you will. Someone please prove me wrong!

Not as sexy as a flash, but hey what do you want from an engineer.

This is brief, but certainly not a scientific explanation and blatantly false with the statement that the green flash lasts a few seconds.
