One other thing, check your backstay tension. Correlates to the headstay tension of which btrayfors spoke.

I noticed my backstay was loose after I finished fighting with my rurler the other day. I didn't relate the two, but it makes sense.

In 10 kts of wind or more, I always head downwind before furling so that the main blankets the headsail. Never had any problem, even in 20+ kts.
