Splicing Parallel Core Braid??

I bought some Stay Set X for my halyards and the chandelry didn't eye-splice the one side and whip the other.

Can I splice this kind of line? I've never seen it done, but have spliced other kinds of lines, so I would be able to tackle it.

If it is hard to splice, is there such thing as a kit to crimp in an eye splice so I can hook my halyard clips back in? What's my best option?

I used Sta-Set X for all my halyards when I re-rigged over the winter and spliced them all myself. I actually find it easier to splice than double braid once you get the hang of it. The link Gary posted above should tell you what you need to know. If you already know how to splice double braid, you can do it no problem.

Of course, if you just tie the halyard to the mainsail shackle, then you can end-for-end the rope when it starts to show signs of wear, and get a longer useable life out of it.
