Ok heres a thread I think may be usefull to all of us , thats the intention anyway . Heres your chance to share something you did that you know now was wrong and what you should do , or would do in the future . All the old salts can give there account and no one will feel patrionised or belittled . I know , I know what fun is that ? Think of it as therapy you get to talk thru your issues and solve them . I'll start .
What I did was layed on the
varnish way too thick , it started to curl under its self so what did I do , put some more on it to see if I could smooth it out . Wrong wrong wrong . What I should have done was walked away , come back and sanded down and started over . Dont rush your
varnish it only gets worse . Way worse .
I know its not exactly a seamanship story but its the first thing I could think of that I wish I hadnt done .
